Note: AT&T can not retrieve your old password but it can get you access to your account back with a few recovery processes. If you happen to forget your password, you will need to create a new one.

How to change att password?

You can change your password for security purposes anytime or reset it if you forget it. You can easily change your password through myAT&T.

To change your password:

1. Go to your ATT.Net Login page (Att.net login) (enter details and log in)

2. Go to My Profile and click on Set New Password

3. Select Change password

4. Enter your current password (to verify your authorization)

5. Type your new password and Enter your new password again (to confirm)

6. save your new password details (once your details are saved, you should be able to access your account with your new credentials)

The password you use to sign in to your email and myAT&T are usually the same. Therefore, your AT&T user ID password will change if you make changes to your email password recently or vice versa.

How to recover att password?

If you have been using AT&T and you recently made changes to your AT&T user ID password, try to sign in to your email using that new password.

I don't know/forgot my password

If you are still facing a Att Email login issue, follow these steps to try resetting your password:

1. Visit myAT&T (enter details and log in)

2. Select Forgot Password? (you will be directed to the recovery page)

3. Fill in the details (you will need to provide the AT&T email address or User ID in the respective field) and select continue 

4. Choose security questions or temporary passwords and follow the prompts 

(If you select security questions, you will have to provide your answers to the security questions that you registered when setting up your account. If the temporary password is selected, you'll be provided with the verification code to your registered mobile number or an alternate email address)

5. After clicking the Continue button, a temporary password will be sent to your mobile phone or your contact email address (which you have selected accordingly)

6. Thereon, retrieve the temporary password that you have received through your phone or your alternative email

7. Enter the temporary password into the box labelled “Temporary password”

8. Click Continue

9. Create a new password and retype to confirm (after clicking continue, you should be able to access your account using the new password)

Check in the “Keep me signed in” option if you want your Att Email login credentials to be auto-filled next time you log in so that you won't lose access to your account even if you forget your Att Email login details.

Note: For privacy and security reasons, please use strong and secure passwords that are not easy to guess or crack whenever you request a new password.

Why can't I log in to my account with the correct email and password?
